Sat 5th October – Week 1 (Program 1)

This week Under 8-16 athletes will participate in Program 1.

First call for all events will be at 8.15am. On-Trackers will commence at approximately 8.30am (listen for the calls from the announcer).

NOTE: LAVic has introduced a change to hurdles for Under 11 athletes – they will now compete over 80m. There is no change to hurdle height (60cms) or spacing (7m) but the number of hurdles will increase from 6 to 9. Click here to view the memo re rule changes for 2019-20.

Championship Day Registrations

Just a quick reminder that the GLAC Steigen Track and Field Championship Day will be on Saturday 9th March (8.00am – 5.00pm).

Athletes may enter a maximum of 5 events on the day consisting of:

3 track & 2 field

or

2 track & 3 field

All track events will be timed finals with medals awarded to the fastest 3 athletes overall for each age group.

Athletes must have participated in at least two (2) normal Centre competition programs prior to Sun 3rd March which is the cut-off for Championship Day registrations.
