GLAC TRACK AND FIELD 2026-2027 DATES

The GLAC calendar for the 2026-2027 Track & Field season is 15 weeks of regular programs plus Championship Day.

Key dates are:

• GLAC season commences: Saturday 10th October 2026
• Last GLAC event prior to Christmas: Saturday 19th December 2026
• First GLAC event post Christmas: Monday 25th January 2027 (Twilight Program)
• GLAC Championship Day: Saturday 20th March 2027

Some other key dates for Regional & State events are:

• Sundays 13, 20, 27 September: Skills Clinic U11 only
• Saturday & Sunday 21st-22nd November: Regional Relay Championships U9-U16
• Sunday 6th December: GLAC Relay Teams Practice U9-U16, invite only
• Saturday 12th/Sunday 13th December: State Relay Championships U9-U16
• Saturday 16th January: State Combined Championship U9-U16
• Saturday 6th / Sunday 7th February: Region Track and Field U9-U16
• Saturday 6th/Sunday 7th March: State Track and Field Championships U9-U16

2026-27 Season Calendar

Cancellation of weekly competition programs can occur throughout the season due to wet weather or excessive heat conditions. On a Saturday morning, or prior to any twilight programs scheduled, if you think that the program may be cancelled, please check your GLAC Team App or Facebook after 7.45am

The decision to cancel a program is made by the GLAC Committee with the safety of athletes and officials at their primary concern. On some occasions a program may also be altered to suit weather conditions.
