Orders placed by 5.00pm Thursday 12th November will be available for collection on the first day of competition (Saturday 14th November).

Collection prior to this date can be arranged for orders placed via email and paid online.

2020-2021 Track & Field Season

After a lot of hard work in preparing to operate in a COVID-safe environment, the 2020-2021 GLAC Track & Field season will commence on Saturday 14th November 2020.

To be COVID compliant, things will look a lot different this season. Details are still to be finalised but we will all need to adapt and work together to make sure things run smoothly and everyone stays safe and healthy whilst still enjoying the Little Athletics experience.

More details will be made available shortly, but for the moment we are asking everyone to go to the LAVic Member Portal and register ASAP so we can get a good indication of how many athletes we will have onboard for the season. This will help with planning for the season.

Also, if you are after any new uniform, get in touch and we will arrange to have items put aside and payment/collection can be arranged. Check our Uniform page for items and pricing.

2019-20 Season Presentations

Good evening all,

Given the current situation with regards to social distancing and restrictions on group activities, the South Barwon committee have decided to conduct a “virtual” presentation to cap off our 2019-20 Track & Field season.

Date & time are still TBC, but keep an eye out for updates.

Details of all awards/participants will be posted here as well as Facebook and other social media platforms.


Rebel gift cards

Hi all,

Thanks to some fantastic performances in the Relays at the recent GLAC Australia Day Twilight event, the club has been fortunate enough to secure a number of $25 Rebel gift cards which will be used as spot prizes over the last 3 weeks of regular competition for athletes who meet the following criteria:

  • participation in ALL events for their age-group,
  • achieve PB’s,
  • exemplify the behavioral standards and values of SBLAC, GLAC and LAVic.

Recipients of the vouchers will be posted on the website and social media during the week following and can be collected from the red tent at the next Saturday competition day.

Saturday 8th February – Week 13

This week we have another Twilight event and Under 8-16 athletes will participate in Program 1.

First call for all events will be at 5.00m. On-Trackers will commence at approximately 5.30pm (listen for the calls from the announcer).

We are on pack-up this week so we would appreciate as many families staying on-site to help as possible.

SBLAC Marquee

We recently received our replacement marquee. Looks a treat if you ask me!

Our Registrar Naomi is at the marquee every week to help with registrations, uniform sales and to answer any questions you may have. So stop by the factory end of John Landy Field and say hello.

Next up will be the replacement of the club sign!

2020/21 GLAC Committee

In May 2020 GLAC will be holding their Annual General Meeting. There will be a lot of committee positions available due to existing committee members leaving Little Athletics as their children transition to Seniors.

It is vitally important that these positions are filled before the start of the 2020/21 season otherwise the centre will not be able to operate.

We have a lot of families attending Little Athletics – if you feel you can help out in any way please let either a member of the SBLAC or GLAC committee know.

GLAC Committee positions can be shadowed during the remainder of the season so you know what to expect when the 2020/21 season commences. This is a way to assist with the transition of positions rather than having a hard cut-over.

Club Uniforms

GLAC have noted that this season has been the worst for members not abiding by uniform rules (including COLES badges).

The correct Club Uniform must be worn when competing. Check theĀ Uniforms page for details of SBLAC uniform.

COLES badges must be attached to the singlet/top (right hand side, above the LAVic logo if present) – this is LAVic policy.


If you do not have correct uniform or a COLES badge please speak to Naomi at the club tent on Saturday.

NOTE: Athletes in incorrect uniform (including missing COLES badges or competition bibs) may be excluded from competing.
