The Victorian Government has announced vaccination requirements for employees and volunteers working in community sport.
The mandate will apply to all LAVic employees and volunteers (this includes those employed, contracted to, and volunteering at Centres & Clubs affiliated with LAVic, as well as those employed and volunteering at Region and Association level).
By 15 October 2021, these individuals must be able to provide evidence that they have:
- Received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccination, or
- Have evidence of a booking to receive their first dose by 22 October 2021, or
- Have a medical exemption, evidenced by an authorised medical practitioner.
From 26 November 2021, the individuals listed above will be required to have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine (unless they have a medical exemption).
As all parents are required to participate in club duties over the course of the season you will all need to abide by these vaccination requirements.
