It’s almost Championships Day! We’re looking forward to seeing our OnTrackers and those U8s and above who have registered for the Championships Day at Landy Field tomorrow. 

Please remember that your child can only compete in the events that you have registered them for – and no changes can be made on the day or beforehand. If you’ve forgotten which events your child is competing in, we will have a list for the South Barwon athletes at our table tomorrow.

March Past

Can all athletes please wear full South Barwon uniform and be ready to line up for the March Past at 8.00am. To add to the celebrations, athletes are welcome to wear red, white and blue accessories with your uniform, such as tutus, hats, nail polish, face paint and hair ribbons, but please no balloons or streamers. 

We will have some dress-up items that you can borrow at the South Barwon area, as well as hats and hair ribbons for purchase.

You will still need to bring and wear your competition bib.

OnTrackers

OnTracker families are welcome to join in the fun. There will be an OnTrackers session in the morning as usual. At the end of the session, each OnTracker will receive a participation medal.

Please note that South Barwon is on pack-up duty so we need to call on our families to help throughout the day as events end, as well as after the final events. 

Good Friday Appeal

Geelong Little Athletics Centre is currently fundraising as part of the Good Friday appeal. Whatever members put in, Geelong Little Athletics Centre will match, so please donate what you can here or bring cash for the tins tomorrow.
