Please remember to bring your bib and shoes to wear between events. No athlete should have bare feet at any time. Please also remind U11s and above to be careful with where they are putting their feet when wearing spikes.

Each month, the parents and carers who have completed a volunteer shift will be put into a draw to win a $50 voucher from out sponsor, Fisherman’s Pier Restaurant. Congratulations to Harley, our January winner.

Geelong Championships Day

We will need extra volunteers on Geelong Championships Day (15 March) to cover the entire event. If your child is competing that day, you or someone from your family will need to do a volunteer shift. Please visit our table this Saturday to claim your spot.

Hot Cross Buns Fundraiser

With Easter approaching, the South Barwon LAC committee have organised a Hot Cross Buns fundraiser for the club. Pop by the South Barwon area to grab your order form. All your favourite flavours are available:

• Traditional
• Chocolate Chip
• Apple and Cinnamon
• Fruitless

The buns are only $10 per per pack, with $4 going to South Barwon.

Please return your order forms and money (cash only) this week. Buns delivered on either Saturday 22 February or Saturday 1 March depending on the date on your form. Please ask your family and friends to buy a pack to support our fundraiser!

Regional Track & Field Carnival

The Regional Track and Field Carnival is now less than two weeks away. Entries are closed and registered athletes will be competing as part of the Geelong team on the 15th and 16th of February at Corio Little Athletics Centre.

All athletes competing in regional and state events will need to wear the Geelong Little Athletics uniform. Please visit the competition office on Saturday if you need to pick up uniform items.
