It was fantastic to see everyone out on the track again on another sunny day last Saturday. Already we’re seeing some great personal best results, as well as new friendships forming between the athletes.
This week’s events
This week, we will be running Program 2 again. This means we’re back to walks week and all athletes wanting to take part need to wear shorts that are a minimum of 10cm above the knee – no leggings or trackpants. We will return to Program 1 events again on Sunday 10th November.

Please remember to bring your bib each week, as there will be a charge for reprints. Some suggestions from our parents are: leaving it in the car, keeping it in your South Barwon shoe bag or even pinning it straight back on uniform singlets as soon as they come out of the wash!

Athlete of the Week
Each week we’ll be looking out for an athlete who demonstrates the South Barwon spirit. Last week, the athlete of the week award went to Matilda for showing incredible dedication, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship and also giving her best in every event. Congratulations on your four PBs last week, Matilda!

Go South Barwon!
