Who’s ready for another week of competition at Landy Field? Hopefully the families of our 8+ athletes have been able to log into the ResultsHQ accounts and see their times and distances for Week 4. It’s great to see so many personal bests already!
Athlete of the Week
Each week we’ll pick out an Athlete of the Week based on effort and attitude, who will receive a $20 Rebel Sport Gift Voucher.
Will F (U9B) was our South Barwon Little Athlete of the Week on October 22. Will F ran a great 800m, achieving a personal best of 3:07.62.
This week’s events
We’re back to Program 2 this week, which means Walks for athletes aged 9 and up. For the Walks events all competitors need to wear shorts that are a minimum of 10cm above the knee – no leggings or trackpants.

Volunteers
Many thanks to the families who have signed up for volunteer duties over the past couple of weeks. We’ve still got some spots on the calendar to be filled before Christmas – every family should have done at least two duties by this date. If you haven’t already chosen your spots, please come by the South Barwon area this Saturday and add your name to the whiteboard.

Uniform update
We will have most South Barwon uniform items available for sale on Saturday. Size 6 and 8 shorts are still on back-order. We will contact families who have already purchased these shorts as soon as they become available.
