GLAC TRACK AND FIELD 2025-2026 DATES

The GLAC calendar for the 2025-2026 Track & Field season is 12 weeks of regular programs plus Championship Day.

Key dates are:

• GLAC season commences: Saturday 4th October 2025
• Last GLAC event prior to Christmas: Saturday 20th December 2025
• First GLAC event post Christmas: Friday 23rd January 2026 (Twilight Program)
• GLAC Championship Day: Saturday 14th March 2026

Some other key dates for Regional & State events are:

• Sunday 19th October: Skills Clinic U11 only
• Saturday 22nd November: Regional Relay Championships U9-U16
• Sunday 7th December: GLAC Relay Teams Practice U9-U16, invite only
• Saturday 13th/Sunday 14th December: State Relay Championships U9-U16
• Saturday 17th/Sunday 18th January: State Combined Championship U9-U16
• Saturday 7th February: Region Track and Field U9-U16
• Saturday 7th/Sunday 8th March: State Track and Field Championships U9-U16

2025-26 Season Calendar

Cancellation of weekly competition programs can occur throughout the season due to wet weather or excessive heat conditions. On a Saturday morning, or prior to any twilight programs scheduled, if you think that the program may be cancelled, please check your GLAC Team App or Facebook after 7.45am

The decision to cancel a program is made by the GLAC Committee with the safety of athletes and officials at their primary concern. On some occasions a program may also be altered to suit weather conditions.
